With the holiday season in full swing, thoughts naturally turn to the magic of giving and acts of kindness. At Catalight, that spirit lies at the heart of everything we do. Our yearlong goal is to empower individuals with autism and other intellectual and developmental disabilities – helping them navigate the world with confidence, dignity and joy.
For families touched by I/DD, the holiday season can bring both good cheer and challenges. Instead of material gifts, we offer understanding, support and the tools to achieve greater wellbeing. For many of the people we serve, that may be experienced by taking part in festivities – joining a family tradition, trying something new or simply being better understood.
As we celebrate the season, let’s remember that the greatest gifts are those that bring happiness. We work to ensure that every individual we serve is empowered on their personal path to wellbeing. From all of us at Catalight, thank you for being part of this journey. May the season be filled with love, warmth and the profound joy that comes from lives changed for the better.
